Composting Products. This resource gives a detailed description of different compost products such as mulch, soil conditioners, and organic fertilizers and answers the question ‘what can composts do?’ In addition there are two visual representations of both the benefits of soil conditioner and the benefits of mulch versus no mulch, these in particular would be excellent resources for classroom use.

The Composting Process. This resource gives a detailed description of what occurs to the organic materials as they decompose over the composting period of twelve weeks. Graphs are provided to demonstrate the key changes that occur over the period of maturation. A single page detailing what happens biologically over the twelve week period of maturation, what products exist at the end of the period and what the products uses are. Also included is a brief reasoning behind the importance of quality control and key factors to be considered when composting.
