About the Resource Library
The Resource Library catalogues useful resources of relevance to Local Government - particularly councils in the HCCREMS project region. The Resource Library will assist council staff to overcome the barriers faced in finding credible environmental management information tailored to their particular needs.
The majority of the items catalogued have been published by HCCREMS, but to reduce duplicated effort, the Resource Library also contains select relevant resources published by others.
A brief outline of the search and display options used in the Resource Library is detailed below.

| The 'lead' author or publisher. "Others involved" provides a more comprehensive listing of authors, organisations involved in producing the resource. |
Display Options
Search results are displayed in a 'Resources in Summary' list, simply click on the table headings (title, date, author, type or summary) to sort the results alphabetically or numerically by that item.
To see more details on a particular resource, either click on the thumbnail image or resource title.
Search Options
It is possible to locate resources from the Resource Library in the following ways:
- Summary displays of all key HCCREMS Publications can be found on the HCCREMS Publications Page.
- Summary displays of program specific resources can be found by either conducting a full Resource Library search, of by visiting the program specific 'Resources" page in each Program webpage.
- Conduct a full Resource Library search by using the catalogue filter search on the Search All Resources page. The full library search enables you to limit the search by title, author, year published, keyword, resource type and program. Please note this search tool operates as an 'AND' search, meaning the more search parameters you select, the fewer results you will receive.
Finally, if you find a resource that meets your needs and are interested in seeing any related resources - links to these are located in the "Related Resources" section of the detailed resource page - you can reach this by clicking the resource title from the search table.
