HCCREMS recently held workshops with over 30 council staff participants to demonstrate use of the large body of Biodiversity data sets released by 2015.
The data sets were created throughout the four-year Biodiversity Investment Prospectus project. Data includes climate projection modelling, species and vegetation community modelling, and agricultural lands mapping.
The workshops also gave council staff a chance to ask questions and interrogate the data.
We will be heading up the Valley in September to talk with council staff that were not able to attend earlier sessions.
