River Day November 18th 2007

LOCATION: Wilson Memorial Park, Murrurundi

TIME: 11am – 4pm

Turning the Pages’ is an Art & Science Project celebrating the significance of the Pages River. Its aim is to promote community awareness and appreciation of the geological, biological and cultural history of a major tributary river that meanders its way south to join the mighty Hunter River. ‘Turning the Pages’ engages the many communities nested in the river’s catchment area and the River Day will include a major art installation created by over 180 local school children, audio visual presentations, performances by school children and a workshop by a Scientist from the Australian Museum in Sydney.
