Hunter Joint Organisation (Hunter JO) is committed to enhancing the availability, dissemination and exchange of information related to environmental management and sustainability to councils in the Hunter, Central Coast and mid North Coast Region of NSW. To that end, Hunter JO has established this website to provide details on the Environment Program, enable secure access for member councils to documents related to active projects and to provide details of relevant issue based resources relevant to Hunter JO and its member councils.
The site contains hypertext links to other Internet sites which contain information collated and presented by government agencies, third-party organisations and individuals. The providers of the linked sites often have their own protocols and standards in relation to their sites and the information which appears at them. We urge you to familiarise yourself with these protocols and standards, as Hunter JO can not warrant and does not represent that the linked sites are complete, current, reliable and/or free from error. Hunter JO does not accept responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, cost or expense you might incur as a result of the use of or reliance upon the materials which appear at the linked sites.
Hunter JO has designed the site to provide limited information and be a portal to further information sources and should not be relied upon as the ultimate and complete source of information on any particular topic.
Bearing in mind the importance of freedom of expression to our democratic society, Hunter JO does not necessarily endorse or support the views, opinions, standards or information expressed at the linked sites. Similarly, you should not interpret the absence of a link from the Hunter JO Environment Program site to any particular third-party site as a criticism or comment by Hunter JO on the provider or content of that site.
The links which appear on the Hunter JO Environment Program site have been set up as an information source only and with Hunter JO’s desire to promote multiculturalism, tolerance and diversity in our society in mind. As such, you should appreciate that despite the efforts of Hunter JO to review and asses the suitability of the linked sites, some material which appears at those sites, may cause offence or upset to some visitors. Hunter JO regrets any such offence or upset caused.
The intention of the Hunter JO Environment Program website is to improve the accessibility and dissemination of information and resources to council officers in the region.
